All India Homoeopathic Congresses organized by IIHP

  1. The first Homoeopathic congress was held at New delhi in 1950. It was inaugurated by Rajkumari Amrit Kaur,Union Health Minister and Dr. S. K. Das of Calcutta presided..
  2. The second Homeo Congress was held at Lucknow in 1952 was inaugurated by Shri C. B. Gupta, the Chief Minister and Health Minister U.P. It was presided by Dr. M. Gururaju of Andhra Pradesh.
  3. The third Home Congress was held at New Delhi, was inaugurated by Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, President of India, and Presided by Dr. B. K. Sarkar of Calcutta.
  4. The fourth Congress was held at Calcutta, was inaugurated by then State Health Minister Dr. J. N. Mujumdar. Presided by Dr. B. K. Sarkar of Calcutta.
  5. The fifth Congress was held at Patna, was inaugurated by Shri Jai Prakash Narayan and presided by Dr. Magan Lal Desai of Bombay.
  6. The sixth congress was held at Ahmedabad, was inaugurated by Dr. Sushila Nayar, Union Health Minister. Presided by Dr. J. N. Sircar of Calcutta.
  7. The seventh Congress was held at Kottayan (Kerala), was inaugurated by Union Health Minister Dr. Sushila Nayar and presided by Dr. Diwan Harish Chand of New Delhi.
  8. The Eighth Congress was held at Calcutta. It was silver jubilee celebration of the All India Institute of Homoeopathy. It was inaugurated by Shri K. K. Shah, Union Health minister and presided by Dr. M. C. Batra of Bombay.
  9. The ninth congress was held at Bangalore, was inaugurated by the State Health minister of Karnataka and Presided by Dr. K. G. Saxena of New Delhi
  10. 1981 : The tenth Congress was held at Hyderabad, was inaugurated by Shri B. Shankaranand, Union Health Minister presided by Dr. N. K. Dasgupta of Calcutta
  11. 1983 : The eleventh Congress was held at Bhubaneshwar was inaugurated by Shri J. B. Patnaik, Chief Minister of Orissa presided by Dr. P. Nagbhushanm of Hyderabad
  12. 1985 : The 12th Congress was held at Ranchi, inaugurated by Shri Arjun Singh, Union Commerce Minister and presided by Dr. S. R. Wadia of Bombay.
  13. 1987 : The 13th congress was held at Pune, inaugurated by Chief Minister, S.B. Chavan in presence of Minister for Culture of Maharashtra and presided by Dr. Banerjee of Gorakhpur.
  14. 1991 : The 14th Congress was held at Hyderabad, inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Shri Janardan Reddy and presided by Dr. T. R. Chadha of New Delhi.
  15. 1992 : The 15th congress was held at Lucknow. Inaugurated by Chief minister of U.P. Shri Kalyan Singh and presided by Dr. C. C. Desai, Bombay.
  16. 1995 : The 16th congress and golden jubilee celebrations were held at New delhi, Hon. Union Health Minister Sri A. R. Antulay inaugurated in presence of Chief Minister Sri Madan Lal Khurana of New Delhi and Dr. S. Venugopala Chary, Homoeopathic Doctor and Hon’ble minister from A.P. was guest of honour. Presided by Padmashree Dr. K. G. Saxena.
  17. 1998 : The 17th Congress was held at Nagpur, Maharashtra, inaugurated by Shri Devendra Phadnavis, Mayor of Nagpur City presided by Dr. G. L. N. Sastry of Hyderabad.
  18. 2000 : The 18th Congress was held at New Delhi. Mr. Raja, Union Minister of State for Health inaugurated the Congress and presided by Dr. V. K. Gupta of New Delhi.
  19. 2002 : The 19th Congress was held at Bhubaneshwar, Orissa. Inaugurated by Sri Navin Patnaik, Chief Minister of Orissa, presided by Dr. V. K. Gupta.
  20. 2007 : The 20th Congress was Diamond Jubilee Celebration of IIHP. It was held at Hyderabad. Inaugurated by Smt. Panabaka Lakshmi, State Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India & in presence of Shri. K. Rosaiah, Minister for Health, Medical & Family welfare, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh presided by Dr. Niranjan Mohanty of Bhubaneshwar.

2008 : 21st Congress will be held at Amritsar, Punjab in November 2008
